The design for these mugs grew out of the way that I hold my own coffee mug, which I copied from my mother.  The handle is a loop that fits over the thumb, allowing the user to cradle the mug in the palm of their hand.  The warmth of a hot beverage transfers through the clay to warm up cold hands. Perfect for people with arthritis! Mugs are available in both right- and left-handed models.
